In April 29, 2022 within the framework of International Conference “Science and Education in the Modern World” the Chair of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication held the sectional meeting.
Regarding the topic “Modern Linguistic Situation in the Multilingual World” the reports were presented, which covered a wide range of issues from methodological problems such as ease of language learning and development of communicative competence to the specifics of ironic speech etiquette in the social and political discourse. At the end of the discussion, the participants concluded that issues at the interface of several disciplines deserve more and more attention in the field of linguistics and pedagogy, and their development holds great promise in the field of linguistics and pedagogy and deserves special attention.
