COMMON GOAL, COMMON INTERESTS: KARAKALPAK TURKOLOGIST ARRIVED IN KARAGANDA

On April 28, the traditional international scientific and practical conference on “Science and Education in the modern world” was held at the Bolashaq Academy. The conference materials, which received a total of 170 reports from the Republic of Kazakhstan and the near and far abroad, are grouped into a two-volume scientific collection.

The next course of the conference, which at different times was distinguished by its novelty, was completely different. The Organizing Committee, which effectively used the capabilities of modern technologies, held a conference at which news and proposals in various fields of science were presented, both online and offline, where issues were discussed.

Since each report made at the plenary session was accompanied by heated discussions, it was necessary to add additional time to the pre-appointed time. Then the breakout meeting unfolded in eight directions.

So, the conference, which united far and near on the same platform, passed, but the impressions did not subside. In particular, the scientist, who arrived with an official invitation to the section “New directions in linguistics and national literature”, which is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, spent two days in Karaganda, holding unforgettable events in the scientific and spiritual direction.

Abdinazimov Shamshetdin Nazhovich -Turkologist, professor of the Berdak Karakalpak State University, Doctor of Philology, deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Karakalpak. On the first day, the named scientist made a report at the plenary session on linguoculturology, the anthropolanguage paradigm in modern linguistics, after the session of the section he met with students of the Academy and College “Bolashaq” in the specialty “Kazakh language and literature”, gave a lecture on the past, present and prospects of Turkology, the next day-on general linguistics, experience The Karakalpak people in the transition to Latin graphics.

A coherent presentation of the research of a scientist who devoted his whole life to science and knowledge, information about world linguistics, conclusions by comparison, presentation of specific facts, description of pros and cons, presentation of those materials that many do not know about in the science of Turkology, a convincing presentation of minor moments of the transition to Latin graphics, which are usually not taken into account, so the students were interested in the fact that they asked incessant questions.

It is well known that the language and culture, folklore heritage of the Turkic peoples spread all over the world are common. However, in the Kipchak group of Turkic languages, which is part of the Western Hun branch, one of the few languages closest to Kazakh is the Karakalpak language. Hence a lot of questions to a specialist who is fluent in the language of several Turkic-speaking peoples, including lexicology and grammar.

Not to mention the fact that Shamshetdin Nazhovich, as a scientist, studied the Karakalpak language, problems of Turkology, as a teacher, scientifically supervised several researchers, in the 1990s he participated in the compilation of a series of translation dictionaries of Turkic-speaking peoples in Turkey, in the compilation of a paremiological dictionary of Kazakh-Karakalpak languages in Kazakhstan, before that he archived Karakalpak language in China. He also prepared candidates of Sciences of Kazakh linguistics. In a word, the contribution to the development of linguistics of the Turkic peoples is significant. The scientist’s students today head the Department of Kazakh language and Literature in several universities of Karakalpakstan.

It should be noted that at the beginning of the second semester of the current academic year, the head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Bolashaq Academy, Professor Sembiev Kurmangazy Zakirovich also made an official visit to the city of Nukis of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, where he lectured students as part of academic mobility. On the same trip, a partnership agreement was concluded between the universities of the two universities. In the future, it is planned to exchange students of the educational program “Kazakh language and literature” between the Academy “Bolashaq” and Karakalpakstan State University.
