Gratitude Day

On March 1, Kazakhstan marks Gratitude Day, a new holiday filled with special meaning and spiritual joy.

On this day, for the fifth year in a row, Bolashaq Academy smells delicious bread.

Each employee of the university gets a big bread basket as a sign of gratitude from the management and administration for hard work in the field of education and training of the young generation of Kazakhstanis.

This year, the issuance of bread baskets started earlier.

The first to receive were the students.

“I express great gratitude to Bolashaq Academy to help with bread baskets. It’s very nice and touching in this weather to get a piece of good in the form of fresh and warm bread.”

Bolashaq Academy congratulates everyone on Gratitude Day, celebrated in our Republic on March 1 at the initiative of Elbasy – Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Kazakhstan is known for its multinationality: the country unites 130 ethnic groups and 17 religious confessions; during the XX century more than five million people from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus moved to its territory. This is a special national idea, which has its roots in the times when Kazakhs received numerous immigrants after Stolypin reforms, collectivization and camouflaging.

The establishment of this holiday is a tribute of respect and gratitude of all ethnic groups to each other and to Kazakhs who showed mercy and accepted these people as relatives.

We wish all the best, health, confidence, strength, perseverance, great opportunities, good luck, love and prosperity.
