REPUBLICAN SCIENCE AND PRACTICE CONFERENCE “ADVANCED TRAINING OF TEACHERS: INTERACTION OF TRADITIONS AND INNOVATIONS”

On October 24, 2018, T. Smolkina, Vice Rector for Research and International Cooperation, and N. Khrapchenkova, Head of Pedagogy and Psychology Department, took part in the work of the Republican Science and Practice Conference “Advanced Training of Teachers: Interaction of Traditions and Innovations” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Karaganda Institute of Advanced Training of Teachers “Orleu”.

The conference was also attended by heads of city and district education departments, directors of educational organizations, veterans, public figures and representatives of partner organizations of the Institute.

The conference was opened by S. Mukanova, Director of the Institute, Saulesh Dimkeshevna, who defined the leitmotif of the meeting, which was the key idea of the conference: “Preserving the best traditions for creating a new quality” – the best traditions in increasing the human resources potential of teachers in the region to achieve the goals of updating the content of education.

Y. Imangaliyev, Head of Education Department, Karaganda region, in his welcoming speech noted the importance of human capital development, which in modern conditions is associated with the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Status of Teacher”. Yessengazy Imangaliyev drew attention to the fact that without saving the original values adaptation of any model of teacher to the Kazakh reality is impossible.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Board “Orleu” JSC, Professor Zh. Karayev delivered the report on theme “Advanced training of teachers in the context of XXI century challenges”. He emphasized the important role of the teacher in the development of skills of the 21st century not only among students, but also, first of all, among the teachers themselves. The adherence to the modern trends of education, taking into

account the accumulated best national practices, contributes to the continuous professional development of teachers and the improvement of their social status.

The speech of N. Beisenbekova, associate professor of the chair of archeology, ethnology and national history of E.A. Buketov KSU, candidate of historical sciences, director of the research center “Тulgatanu”, was devoted to the implementation of the ideas of spiritual modernization in school education. In the speech Nursakhan Akhmetovna confirmed words of speakers of plenary session by ideas of the outstanding Kazakh enlighteners about interrelation of modern discoveries and traditions.

The presentation of the video film and almanac “Karaganda Regional Institute for Teacher Professional Development: 70 Years of Search, Discovery and Success” continued the presentations. The result of the plenary session was the awarding of partners of the Institute – the heads of city and district departments of education – and congratulations from partners: E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Uchebnik”, Karaganda Regional Organization of the Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, “Bolashak” Academy.
