This week the rector of “Bolashaq” Academy, professor Menlibayev K.N. continued to communicate with the representatives of the university teaching staff.
On April 23, 2020 there was an on-line meeting with the staff of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication.
At the beginning of the meeting the Rector gave a brief overview of the latest developments in the higher education system and the Bolashaq Academy in terms of distance learning.
The main topic of the meeting was discussion of the forms of intermediate and final attestation of students. Kuralbai Nesipbekovich noted the specificity of the educational program of the department, which requires an objective and complete assessment of skills and abilities of speech activity in foreign languages, and expressed support for the desire of the department staff to control the knowledge of students orally in online format.
Topical issues related to student fees, preparation for the new academic year, career guidance and admission of applicants were discussed.
During the meeting the lecturers could express their opinion and ask questions about the activity of the university under quarantine conditions.
At the end of the meeting the rector positively evaluated the work of the department, thanked the staff for their highly professional and conscientious work and wished everyone health and creative success.
