Kettlebell Sport Competition

On October 19th, a Kettlebell Sport Competition took place at Bolashaq Academy.

Kettlebell sport is a cyclic strength sport centered around lifting kettlebells as many times as possible within a specified time frame while standing.

Kettlebell Training: An Economical Path to Strength and Endurance

Kettlebell training is one of the most economical, simple, and effective methods for gaining muscle mass, improving strength, endurance, and functional readiness. When training with kettlebells, special attention should be paid to developing finger and wrist strength.

Before the competition commenced all participants were weighed and divided into three groups.

Kettlebell sport competitions involve using kettlebells weighing 16, 24, and 32 kilograms, following a two-event program: the push with two kettlebells using both hands and the push with one kettlebell in each hand without rest. Alternatively, competitors can opt for the long cycle program, which includes pushing two kettlebells with both hands from the chest, followed by a brief descent of the kettlebells without placing them on a platform. Our participants used 16-kilogram kettlebells.

At the conclusion of the competition, the results were summed up, and the strongest participants were recognized.

The winners and runners-up were honored with certificates. Our students who participated showcased their physical prowess, leaving not only the judges but also the spectators amazed.
