On September 26 and 27, Karaganda Economic University hosted the International Student Leaders Summit “Participation of Student Youth in the Management of Modern Higher Education”.
The summit was dedicated to the Year of Youth and was held jointly with the Youth Policy Department within the framework of the “Rukhani Zhnagyru” program. It was attended by students from different regions of Kazakhstan as well as from Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan and Mongolia.
Students of Bolashaq Academy also took an active part.
The aim of the summit is to share the experience of youth leaders in the development of student self-government.
During the two days, master classes and workshops were organized for the participants: “Implementation of the state youth policy”, “One team – the key to success” and “Situation leadership in management”, round table on “Development of student self-government in conditions of university autonomy in Kazakhstan”, dialogue and discussion platforms.
At the end of the event, a resolution was adopted.
The international summit of youth leaders came to an end on September 27th in the Palace of Culture for students of KEU. A concert and a ceremony of awarding certificates and memorable souvenirs to participants took place.
