The annual regional Olympiad for schoolchildren on the subjects of chemistry and biology is held on February 19, 2021 at the Academy of “Bolashaq” by the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines jointly with the Department of Education of Karaganda Region.
There were 50 applications on biology and 35 applications on chemistry submitted from Karaganda and Karaganda Region schools to participate in the Olympiad. The Olympiad is held for 11th grade students studying in the state and Russian languages.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to actively assist future school leavers in their professional orientation and in choosing a specialty, and to identify the most capable students with a broad knowledge of chemistry and biology.
The Olympiad is held in two stages.
The 1st round – testing – is held on February 19, 2021 on the basis of Internet-resources of the Academy “Bolashaq” on Moodle platform.
The 2nd round will be held on February 26, 2021 at 14.00 in the Zoom video conference program.
In the second round, the participants of the Olympiad who passed to the second round are invited to make the report-presentation: in the biology subject on “Innovations in Biology”, in the chemistry subject on “Innovations in Chemistry”.
Winners of the Olympiad in each subject will be determined by the competition committee.
The results will be published on the website of the Bolashaq Academy.
