Dialogue platform “Formation of anti-corruption culture among students”

On May 21, 2020, as part of the School of Integrity, a dialogue platform “Forming an Anti-Corruption Culture among Students” was organized on the Skype online platform.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector of “Bolashaq” Academy and B. Akhmetova, a member of the Anti-Corruption Awareness Staff.

The event was moderated by the Chief Specialist of the Department for Prevention and Integrity of the Karaganda Region Anti-Corruption Service.

Students of the Bolashaq Academy of all educational programs and members of the Sanaly urpaq club took an active part in the dialogue platform.

Botagoz Telmanovna, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, shared the world experience of the fight against corruption and urged the youth not to deviate from their moral qualities and to preserve human dignity in any situation, noting that the primary task of the state and society is not to fight against the consequences of corruption, but to prevent it. And everyone has to start with himself, with a change of consciousness and mentality. The main role in this is given to youth.

Director of “Rukhaniyat” also spoke at the online meeting. Academy “Bolashaq” – Aupenova Aliya Ukuzhanovna and informed that in May 18 at 11.00 students of the Academy “Bolashaq” took part in the Republican action “Adaldyk sagaty”, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai. Aliya Ukuzhanovna noted that creativity and heritage of Abai are invaluable, because many works of the outstanding poet are devoted to spiritual and patriotic education, formation of honest and decent way of life.

Botagoz Telmanovna also noted that the destiny and prosperity of the society depends on the patriotism of people and led the audience to a dialogue, asking questions on this topic. The participants of the meeting, students of all educational programs from 1st to 4th year, were active.

Students of the Academy Akhmaldinov Rustam, Merdenov Arman, Botataeva Akzhan made very interesting presentations.

The meeting ended with an online briefing: students asked questions and received comprehensive answers, shared their ideas and suggestions on anti-corruption issues.
