On February 9 and March 1, 2024, the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines held an annual regional Olympiad at the Bolashaq Academy for 11th grade students studying chemistry and biology in the state and Russian languages.
24 applications in biology and 19 applications in chemistry were submitted from educational institutions of Karaganda and Karaganda region to participate in the Olympiad. The Olympiad was attended by 15 students in biology and 14 students in chemistry.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to actively assist future school graduates in vocational guidance and in choosing a specialty, to identify the most capable students with broad knowledge in the field of chemistry and biology.
The winners of the I, II and III places were awarded certificates with grants from the rector for one year of study.
In the subject of biology in the state language of instruction, the winners of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Kalkenova Ansagan Yernurkyzy – Osakarovsky district, Municipal state institution “Kanysh Satpayev support school (resource center)”
2nd place – Badilbekova Gulsim – Karaganda, KSU “OSH named after A.Bokeikhan”
3rd place – Murat Medina – Temirtau, KSU “Lyceum No. 9”.
In the subject of biology in the Russian language of instruction, the winners of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Shin Maria – KSU “OSH named after Grigory Potanin”, Karaganda.
2nd place – Yeraliev Islam – KSU “OSH No. 15”, Karaganda
3rd place – Madina Zhunusova – KSU “OSH named after Grigory Potanin”, Karaganda.
In the subject of chemistry in the state language of instruction, the winners of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Aydinkyzy Tomiris – Karkaraly, Appaz auyly “Ramazan Sagymbekov atyndagi No. 18 ZHBB mektep” KMM.
2nd place – Amanzhol Asylzhan – Zhanaarka, B. Amalbekov atyndagi tyrek mektebi RO KMM.
3rd place – Shakratova Aruzhan – G.Temirtau, MML At Ozat.
In the subject of chemistry in the Russian language of instruction, the winners of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Ayukhanova Albina – Zhanaarkinsky district, village of Zhanaarka, KSU OSH (RC) named after E. Shakhanov
2nd place – Daniel Varshavsky – Temirtau, KSU “Specialized school-Lyceum of Information Technology “Ozat”
3rd place – Minchenko Anfisa – G. Abai, “KMM school named after Kanysh Satpayev”
