“A Letter from Myself in 2030”

For the third consecutive year, students of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication have been taking part in the International Essay Contest for Young People (2020 International Essay Contest for Young People).

This year students are writing an essay entitled “A Letter from Myself in 2030”, in which they have to imagine what an ideal world will be like 10 years later. They write a letter to the present in 2020 from their own future in 2030, describing their life, their role in society, and also giving themselves an edification of the present.

Essays can be written in English, French, German and Japanese.

All participants whose essays meet the requirements will be awarded certificates of participation. Teachers receive a certificate for their contribution to this event.

Final results will be announced by October 31, 2020, with 33 participants from all over the world having a chance to win cash and other valuable prizes.

We hope that our students will be able to provide worthy competition to their peers from other countries and wish them to win.
