Young Lawyer 2020

On February 7, 2020, the Regional competition among the students of 11 students of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and colleges of Karaganda and Karaganda region “Young Lawyer” took place.

“Young Lawyer” contest was held by “Bolashaq” Academy together with Karaganda Region Education Department.

The aim of the competition is to promote legal knowledge and legal culture, identify and support talented and creative young people with skills and potential abilities of legal thinking.

Tasks of the contest:

1) Active assistance in choosing the future profession – “Lawyer”;

2) to develop creative abilities of independent thinking and presentation of their thoughts;

3) to develop writing skills;

4) development of experience in public speaking;

5) familiarizing students and teachers with legal general education;

6) improving legal literacy of students in modern life.

The participants of the contest were students of 11 grades of secondary schools, lyceums, college graduation students who expressed a desire to continue their studies in higher education institution in the specialty “Jurisprudence”, under the guidance of teachers and their scientific supervisors.

The competition consisted of 2 stages.

The first stage was for participants to write an essay on “The role of law in modern society”.

The second stage – holding the tournament “Young Lawyer” on the knowledge of the subject Person. Society. Law.

For the purpose of transparency and objectivity of the Contest a supervisory commission consisting of teachers and parents of the participants was created.

The results of the Contest were distributed as follows:

The 1st place was taken by the rector’s grant (free first year full-time education in “Bolashaq” Academy) was taken by D. Akhmetov and A. Makasheva.

2nd place – 50% discount in tuition fees for the first year of full-time form Altai N. and Kuur E. and Makasheva.

3rd place – 25% discount on tuition fees for the first year of full-time form Dyusenbi J.E. and Usova E.D. and

The winners and participants were presented with letters of appreciation.
