On February 29, 2024, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Education of the Karaganda region held a seminar-meeting for university leaders on the implementation of the volunteer project “Menin bauyrym”. Senior lecturer of the Department of Legal and Financial Disciplines Otynshieva G.K., students of the group Yu-23-2 Kadrin T. and Imanbekov S. took part in this seminar-meeting.
The purpose of the volunteer project is to provide support to students in order to ensure their education in a favorable developing environment.
The volunteer project “Menin bauyrym” opens up wide opportunities for the youth of the region to use their strength in supporting students of schools in the region. We hope that volunteers will be able to inspire students to recognition, development and creativity through the implementation of social practices such as projects of patriotic and environmental education; spiritual and cultural projects; career guidance; anti-bullying programs; projects on safety, crime prevention, development of financial, reading and digital literacy, mass sports and a healthy lifestyle.
In the Karaganda region, 390 volunteers are planned to participate in the implementation of the Menin Bauyr volunteer project, among them students of the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Karaganda Industrial University, Bolashaq Academy, Central Kazakhstan Academy, Karaganda Higher Humanitarian College and Karaganda Higher intercollegiate.
