On April 26, 2024, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) ‘Science and Education in the Modern World’ took place.
A total of 12 papers were submitted to Section 6, addressing current challenges in the development of social and humanities sciences. Among them, 3 presentations were delivered in Kazakh, while 9 were presented in Russian. In terms of geographic distribution, the Hakassk State University named after N.F. Katanov, Abakan, Russia, contributed 5 presentations. One presentation was from the “Tobanyaz” Library in Aktau, one from the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University in Uralsk, one from the “Kyzylorda Regional History and Ethnographic Museum,” and one from the Shilibastau Secondary School, Almaty Region. Additionally, three articles were from the “Bolashaq” Academy.

The introductory speech was delivered by the Section Chair, Dr. of Technical Sciences, and head of the Department of Foreign Languages Elikbaev N.E. Faculty members and students attended the section meeting.
During the section meeting, the following presentations were given:
- Grigorchuk I.Yu. “Bolashaq” Academy, with the presentation “On the Transformation of Pronunciation of Some Latin Sounds”
- Dikanbayeva S.A. “Bolashaq” Academy, with the presentation “On Some Traditions of Naming Children”
- Shashanova M.B., “Bolashaq” Academy, with the presentation “Secrets of ‘Big Data’: Research and Perspectives”
Each presentation was accompanied by demonstrations, questions were posed, and discussions ensued for each report. Opinions and additional insights were expressed during the discussions.
Conclusions and Recommendations:
- The active participation of representatives from the Hakassk State University named after N.F. Katanov, Abakan, Russian Federation, was notable.
- The presentations showcased a satisfactory level of quality, and there was a diverse range of research topics covered.
- The scientific works presented exhibited a research-oriented approach. The findings of the reports are relevant and hold significant practical value.
- There were no presentations in English.
- It is recommended to continue research in these areas.
