My grandfather Kusainov Azharbek Kusainov Azharbek, born in 1918 in the village of 10, now Shet district, is a native of Akshatau. In 1939, he was drafted into the Red Army and began his combat duty in Haltengal (Vladivostok). First he fought in the Great Patriotic War, and then in the Japanese War. He reached the end of the war and returned to his country in 1946. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and other orders and medals of the Soviet Union. My grandfather’s brother Kusainov Aman Toleuovich, born in 1908-26.01.1943 (according to the data found), was born in 1908 in the village of 10, now Shet district, a native of Akshatau. As a result of the search for his grandson Kusainov Meirambek, it became known that his great-grandfather Kusainov Aman was called up to the front from the Telmansky District Military Commissariat of Telmansky district, Telmansky district, Karaganda region. He was an arrow in the 48th Guards Rifle Division. The last battle took place on 26.01.1943. According to the plaque” OBD Memorial”, our great-grandfather was buried in the village of Arnautova, Nikitovsky district, Voronezh region.
