On January 13, 2023, a methodological seminar “The use of digital technologies of teaching staff in the educational process” was held at the Bolashaq Academy with the participation of invited speakers:

Shelestova T.Yu., PhD, Associate Professor of the NAO “Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov” (https://buketov.edu.kz/en/page/research ).
Kalizhanova A.N., Master of Philological Sciences, senior lecturer of the NAO “Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov”.
Budikova Zh.A., 2nd year master’s student of the NAO “Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov”.
The seminar was started by T.A. Letyakina, who shared the experience of the association in the framework of educational, methodological and research projects on the use of ICT in the educational process. The speaker from Shymkent touched upon the problems of using web applications for high-order tasks, and also mentioned the passive attitude of students to discussing problematic issues on discussion forums (online) and during facilitation sessions (offline).
Then the moderator of the seminar, the head of the Department of OOD Ilasova A.U. shared the experience of using Postcrossing technology (https://www.postcrossing.com /) within the framework of the discipline “Local History” for the popularization of the native land and the education of active citizenship of student youth and introduced the seminar participants to the resources of research institutions such as:
– The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where you can take a virtual 3D tour through the halls of the museum and get acquainted with the exhibits presented at the link https://nmrk.kz/ru/
– Karaganda Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.V. Gogol, the presented resources on local history answer many questions about the history of the region and you can participate in the interactive quiz “Do you know your city?” at the link https://blog.karlib.kz/ru/node/136
Kalizhanova A.N. told about the experience of creating museum podcasts on the subject of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography of the NAO “Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov” and their pedagogical potential, including such global competencies as digital and media literacy, intercultural communication and connectivism, i.e. mutual learning or knowledge of the “wisdom of the crowd”, and also told about the advantages interdisciplinary research.
T.Y. Shelestova spoke about the importance of choosing and creating “toxic” (catchy) headlines in science and education, having conducted a small interactive, in which the participants of the seminar did a number of interesting tasks.
At the end of the seminar, Budikova Zh.A. modeled a fragment of the facilitation session, where the seminar participants first discussed problematic issues in mini-groups, and then representatives from each group tried to find consensus, and they succeeded.
The seminar was attended by 70 people, and the seminar itself was fruitful and exciting.
