Meeting of the Academic Committee ED 6B01702 – “Foreign language: two foreign languages”

At the meeting of the Academic Committee of the educational program 6B01702 – “Foreign language: two foreign languages” held on March 26, 2024, important decisions were made on improving the quality of teacher training. All committee members were present, including representatives of secondary schools as employers, which provided a broad overview of the current state of the educational program and the problems faced by graduates in the employment process.

The head of the department, Zhanar Gazizovna Gazikhanova, presented the purpose of the educational program and the new curriculum for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year, as well as the changes planned in it. This included updating the course content, introducing new teaching and assessment methods, as well as developing practical learning components to better prepare students for the requirements of the modern educational environment.

Changes and additions to the educational program proposed by employers were actively discussed at the meeting. This made it possible to take into account the practical needs of the labor market and adapt the program to current requirements. New candidates of the committee members were considered and approved, including Zhanara Zhetpisbayeva, a research teacher and English teacher at the N.Nurmakov Specialized Boarding School in Karaganda; Galina Mikhailovna Kolyabina, a moderator teacher and English teacher at Gymnasium No. 1 in Karaganda; and also Elena Anatolyevna Shitova, a third–year student of the educational program 6B01702 – “Foreign language: two foreign languages” of the Bolashaq Academy.

It is important to emphasize that the meeting resulted in confirmation that the educational program currently fully meets all the requirements of the state educational standard and does not require changes. This confirms the high level of quality of student training and the successful development of the program as a whole.
