In connection with the deaths of people as a result of terrorist acts committed in Kazakhstan, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev announced January 10, 2022 a Day of National Mourning.

While ensuring the safety of civilians and repelling terrorist attacks, members of the law enforcement agencies and military personnel lost their lives at the hands of armed criminals. They displayed courage and heroism in the performance of their official duty to the end. Their memory will forever remain in the hearts of all the people of Kazakhstan.
