On December 6, 2024, the Bolashaq Academy hosted the dialogue platform “Implementation of youth Initiatives by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan”, which was attended by 1st-year students of all educational programs. The speaker of the event was A.N. Urmashov, Deputy Chairman of the NGO “Assembly of Zhastary”, head of the Republican Student Assembly, head of the Representative Office of the NGO “Assembly of Zhastary” in the Karaganda region, member of the Council for Youth Affairs under the Akimat of the Karaganda region.
The speaker of the dialogue platform familiarized the participants with the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and highlighted in detail the following areas of the republican public association “Assembly of Zhastary”:
– implementation of the public project “Zhana tolkyn”, aimed at the development of social initiatives of youth;
– educational projects aimed at acquiring sought-after skills for young people, including in the field of intercultural communication;
– environmental actions within the framework of the nationwide campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” and a special project “I am an ecovolonter” aimed at promoting environmental culture among young people;
– charity events “Zhurekten zhurekke” and “Mektepke zhol”;
– opening of student Assemblies in universities of Kazakhstan;
– The entry of the Zhastary Assembly organization into the UNESCO International Youth Community;
– Memorandum of Cooperation with the Youth Union of Tajikistan within the framework of the state visit of the Head of State K.-J.K. Tokayev to the Republic of Tajikistan.
– Association of leaders of youth organizations from Central Asian countries within the framework of the International Youth Camp “Jastar Generation-2024”.
In each area, students asked clarifying questions and received answers containing practice-oriented cases on personal development and leadership development.
