On October 21, 2019, the regular meeting of leadership of “Bolashaq” Student Republic was held with the participation of the director of the research center “Rukhaniyat” A.U. Aupenova. One of the main issues discussed at the meeting was the issue related directly to the development of students’ interest in the project “New humanitarian knowledge.100 new textbooks in Kazakh language” in the framework of the state program “Rukhani Zhangyru”. At the current stage of society’s development, conditions have been created for students to receive comprehensive education in history, political science, sociology, philosophy, psychology, cultural studies, religion, linguistics, economics, management, entrepreneurship and innovation.
A preliminary special commission established under the Ministry of Science and Education has considered about 800 proposals received from all educational institutions of the country. When selecting textbooks included in the project, a number of requirements were taken into account, among them:

First, the textbook had to be included in the curriculum of 100 best universities of the world.
Secondly, the book had to be published at least three times, the last edition – in the last three years.
Thirdly, the textbook content had to be neutral.
Fourth, the availability of various interactive applications and video lectures, online courses in the textbook is taken into account.
To date, 48 out of 100 new textbooks have been translated into Kazakh and are available in the library of the Bolashaq Academy.
Anyone can make suggestions on how to translate the textbooks into Kazakh with the help of feedback at https://100kitap.kz or write a letter on the personal page of the National Translation Agency on the social network Facebook. The proposal will be sent to a special commission which will check the textbook for compliance with the established requirements.
The result of this meeting was the expansion of ties to establish joint activities between the “Bolashaq” Student Republic and the “Rukhaniyat” research center of the “Bolashaq” Academy.
