Comic books in English grammar training. Lesson 2

On 30 October 2020, as part of work on the diploma project, a student from the IN-17-1 group of the Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication Department held regular classes for 5th grade students on the grammatical theme “Superlative adjectives” (excellent degree).

The beginning of the lesson was dedicated to checking the topic “Comparative adjectives” (comparative degree). Pupils had to write their sentences correctly using grammar and send them to a personal chat. Despite spelling errors in many words, this grammar theme was mastered by most 5th grade pupils.

The next step was to read comic books and learn an excellent degree of adjectives, explaining the structure and way of education. The main character in the comic books was chosen to be Spunch Bob, an equally popular and beloved hero among 5th graders.

In the comic book created by Madina, the main action takes place with Sponge Bob Squidward, a friend of Sponge Bob’s, who once tasted the crabburger prepared by Sponge Bob, could not stop himself.

The comic book described the crabsburgers as the most delicious and sweetest in all Bikini Botom.

The pupils were active and involved in the lesson, which was especially noticeable when reading, as some of the pupils wanted the role of Sponge Bob.

The work will continue!
