On October 12, 2023, the Educational and Methodological Department, together with the Center for Distance Learning Technologies and IT Support, held a training seminar for teaching staff on the topic “Methodological recommendations for writing test assignments.”
The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize teaching staff with the technology of compiling test tasks in accordance with difficulty levels and the process of uploading them into the Platonus.
In the first part of the seminar, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bekzhanova S.B. conducted a review of methodological recommendations for the preparation of test tasks, which are aimed at improving the quality of training of students and achieving objectivity in assessing the level of knowledge and skills.
During the seminar, the head of the Educational and Methodological Department Talikova G.T. outlined the main provisions:
– requirements for the preparation of test tasks;
– basic properties of test tasks;
– characteristics of the difficulty levels of test tasks (easy, medium and difficult).
Head of the DLT and IT Support Center Duysenova A.A. in the practical part of the seminar demonstrated the process of uploading test tasks in accordance with the difficulty levels into the Platonus.
At the end of the seminar, teachers received answers to their questions.
