The year 2021 started with good news for the students of Bolashaq Academy. The reason for this was the awarding of students who participated in the online photo competition “Sportsman of the Year 2020”.
From 8th to 15th of January this year by the Youth Affairs Committee this competition was organized.
There were over 30 students who wished to take part. After the qualifying round 9 participants have been put on a page of social network Instagram.
The finalists were:
- Ashurov Sardor, FM-20-1 toby – Taekwondo;
- Mironenko Anastasia, Fm-17-1 tobs – Ballroom Dancing;
- Ualiev Erasil, U-17-2 – Mixed Martial Arts;
- Useinbekyzy Aigerim, FM-17-2 – Kyokushinkai Karate;
- Ersultan Zharylgasinov, FM-18-2 – Checkers;
- Kusainova Zhanelia, In-19-2 – Jiu-jitsu;
- Seldor Sultanov, FM-20-1 – Judo;
- Beknazarov Otazhon, FM-20-2 – Football;
- Bobokulov Zohir, FM-19-2 – Karate.
According to the rules of the competition with the help of collected likes 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and the main trophy – title “Athlete of the Year 2020” are defined.
Throughout the week, students, relatives and friends took part in voting in support of all participants.
As a result, by receiving 600 likes the candidate master of sports in jujitsu, silver medalist of the World Championship, held in Baku, a student of In-19-2 group Kusainova Janelia took 3rd place.
The second place was taken by an active student of the Academy, multiple champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in draughts, a student of group FM-18-2 Ersultan Zharylgasinov, who collected 694 likes.
Five times champion of RK in Kyokushinkai Karate, 2 times World Cup prizewinner, 1st Dan black belt, student of group Fm-17-2 Useinbekyzy Aigerim became the first winner of the title “Sportsman of the Year 2020” with 834 likes.
According to the jury the nomination “Audience Favorite” went to candidate master of sports in ballroom dancing, champion of Kostanay region, student of group Fm-17-1 Mironenko Anastasia.
Judoist Sultanov Sardor became “The most successful sportsman of the year”, the student of group Fm-20-1.
Rector of the Academy, Professor Menlibayev Kuralbay Nesipbekovich congratulated all winners of the competition, presented valuable prizes and awarded with a Certificate of Merit.
