Our students support the Challenge “What book do you read?”, which was organized by Kazakhstani cultural figures.
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev joined to the challenge.
Tokayev told us what books he had read during the quarantine.
He stated that reading of books is the basis of spiritual growth.
President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev told on his Instagram page what books he started reading during quarantine, Liter.kz reports.
“Due to the current situation, the daily lives of many Kazakhstanis have been changed. All over the world recognized that one of the ways to protect against the coronavirus pandemic is self-isolation. Of course, this is a temporary problem. But, in everyone’s hands, there is an opportunity, with the benefit of quarantine”, Tokayev wrote.
He said he supported the Challenge “Which book do you read?”, which was organised by Kazakh cultural figures. And he added that reading books is the basis for spiritual growth.
“I accept relay race from Chairman of Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Ulykbek Esdaulet. I give you a list of books, newspapers and magazines that I started reading these days”, the head of state wrote.
