On February 22-23, 2024, a republican seminar on “Education against corruption” was held in the city of Astana under the organization of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service), Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This seminar was attended by teachers of anti-corruption subjects from all higher educational institutions, including educational institutions of the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Defense, Emergency Situations, and the Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies of the General Prosecutor’s Office. The senior lecturers of the department of legal and financial subjects from our academy A.K. Akhmetova and G.K. Otynshieva participated.
The purpose of the seminar is to modernize anti-corruption knowledge, improve anti-corruption training methods taking into account international experience, and exchange practical experience.
During the seminar, the participants were explained about the anti-corruption legislation, best practices of teaching anti-corruption subjects, practical means of implementing the principles of academic integrity, and motivational sessions were held.
At the end of the event, A.K. Akhmetova and G.K. Otynshieva were awarded with a certificate.
