From April 28-30, Asel Kasenovna Akhmetova, senior lecturer at the Department of Legal and Financial Disciplines, was trained as part of the project of a set of measures aimed at developing the Institute of mediation, including ethnomediation”on the topic: “Prevention of conflicts in interethnic relations of modern society”, organized by the Department of Internal Policy of the Karaganda region.
The seminar was attended by professional and public (non-professional mediators), public figures, and government officials.
The seminar was held in the form of mini-lectures, practical exercises, role-playing games, and imitations of meditation procedures with individual feedback. The lecture material was 50%, and practical skills development was 50%.
With an interactive discussion on the topic: “Conflict management and competence”, “Tolerance and intercultural dialogue” Tokatov R.A. professional mediator, certified trainer. The speakers were: Tlekbaev S.K., Surnacheva O.G., Tusupova S.B., Varzaev A.S.
