Participation of the scientific club “Young Researcher” in the LXXXVIII International Conference “Research of Young Scientists”

Under the scientific guidance of the Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer of the Department of “Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication” Mombekova Meruert Maratovna, participants of the scientific club “Young Researcher” from among students and undergraduates of the OP “Foreign language: two foreign languages” took part in the LXXXVIII International Conference “Research of young scientists”.

Preparation of scientific reports and participation in scientific conferences are important types of work on the development of students’ research competence, which is one of the key ones in the formation of students and undergraduates of the department as future teachers and research teachers. Moreover, working in the international arena of scientific research gives students a unique experience of interacting with colleagues from other countries, helps them strengthen their self-confidence and teaches them to build productive professional relationships, which in the future will become an important factor in their professional activities.

It is worth noting that as part of the work of the scientific club under the mentorship of Mombekova M.M., students and undergraduates develop their skills of writing scientific articles not only in Russian and Kazakh, but also in English, which allows them to significantly improve their skills in foreign language academic writing.

Thanks to participation in the conference, the students of the scientific club “Young Researcher” were not only able to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, but also learned to objectively evaluate the results of their research, compare them with the works of other scientists. This was an important step towards understanding the importance of scientific activity and contributed to the development of critical thinking among the members of the science club.

In addition, working on scientific reports under the guidance of an experienced teacher helped students better understand the structure of a scientific article and the requirements for its writing, as well as master important skills such as the selection and analysis of sources, logical presentation of their conclusions and compliance with academic standards. These skills will be useful for students and undergraduates not only in scientific activities, but also in their future professional careers, as they contribute to the development of an analytical approach and the ability to in-depth research of tasks.

Following the results of the conference, the club members received certificates and published their scientific papers in the conference proceedings, which was an important step in their professional development

In the future, it is planned to expand the research topics and attract even more students and undergraduates of the department interested in scientific work to participate in conferences.

The teacher Mombekova M.M.
