On March 20, 2023, the adviser of the Department of Pedagogy, A.M. Tazhinin, held an open curatorial hour with students of the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology” of the Russian department, dedicated to the Nauryz holiday.
The purpose of the curatorial hour:
- fostering respect and interest in the traditions of the Kazakh people
- the development of a common culture of students.
During the curatorial hour, there was a conversation with students about the Nauryz holiday, its origin, features, traditions of celebration. A video dedicated to the history of the Nauryz holiday was shown.
Nauryz is the oldest national holiday, which is tied to seasonal changes in nature. The spring holiday is a symbol of renewal, the birth of a new life, new opportunities. It is dedicated to fertility, the triumph of love and friendship. Nauryz is a reminder that in the old year everything bad and unpleasant will remain, and in the spring everything bright and joyful will be reborn.
At the end of the curatorial hour, it was concluded that it is very important for the people of Kazakhstan to honor and respect national traditions and customs, since they are the basis of the unity of our people.
