Meeting with undergraduates of the OP – PiP to explain academic policy and academic integrity

The head of the Department of Pedagogy, Abdrakhmanova Alua Sabitovna, together with the curator of gr. MPP- 23-1 Shutenova Sabira Sartaevna, held a meeting with undergraduates of the 1st year of the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology” to clarify an important document – Academic Policy. The basic concepts and categories that the academic process includes were explained. The following issues were highlighted in particular:

The academic policy has been developed in accordance with regulatory legal acts and the university’s own documentation;
The educational activities of the Academy are carried out on the basis of academic policy, which is a system of measures, rules and procedures for planning and managing educational activities and effective organization of the educational process aimed at implementing student-oriented learning and improving the quality of education;
Organizing and conducting internships and research internships for undergraduates;
Organization and conduct of the final certification of undergraduates;
The rules of academic integrity, in particular: respect for authorship and the absence of plagiarism in works and publications. Examination of dissertations / projects for borrowing without reference to the author and the source of borrowing (examination of the dissertation / project for plagiarism) is carried out in accordance with the Regulation “On verification of written works of students and scientific works of teachers under the anti-plagiarism program strikeplagiarism.com at the Bolashaq Academy. Plagiarism is considered a violation of Academic integrity at the Bolashaq Academy. A graduate student is allowed to defend a master’s thesis/project if KP 2 is no more than 40 %;
Compliance with ethical rules, etc.
In general, undergraduates asked questions about internships and internships. There were questions about choosing the topic of the dissertation research. Undergraduates got acquainted with the Academic Policy on the university’s website and noted the importance of this document.
