On September 1, a solemn ruler devoted to the Day of Knowledge was held.
Rector of the Academy, Professor, Candidate of Philosophy Menlibayev Kuralbai Nesipbekovich said his welcome speech to the freshmen. He told students about achievements of the Academy over the years of its existence, about prospects of its development. “High professionalism of teachers, modern teaching technologies, international cooperation in education and science, internal and external academic mobility of teachers and students, good material base, library fund, interesting student life – everything will be presented to you, dear students,” the head of the university said.
The solemn meeting was continued by rewarding with letters of thanks and medals of employees of the Academy for long-term work and a considerable contribution to development of an education system and achievements in education of young generation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also the students who have distinguished last academic year.
“The Day of Knowledge is a symbol of good initiatives, new opportunities, bold discoveries and great hopes. Ahead of us there is an interesting way, I wish good luck and success to all on this way “- said in his farewell speech Rector Menlibayev K.N.
Separately, we greeted the students who received educational grants for studying.
Further, the event was continued by a concert program with participation of the Academy students.
Flowers were laid at the monument of Abai Kunanbayev.
At the end of the line all participants of the event were traditionally presented with sweet presents in the form of ice cream and drink.
The freshmen continued their acquaintance with the university in the auditoriums of the Academy, where curators, heads of departments acquainted the students with the educational process.
The rector of the university got acquainted with each group separately, wished excellent study, active student life.
An introductory lecture was held for distance learning students.
Rector also held a meeting with students who came from Uzbekistan to study at our Academy.
