There is still no consensus among Kazakh historians and demographers not only on the number of Kazakhs who suffered from the famine of 1932-1933, but also on the number of Kazakhs before this, in fact man-made tragedy.
It is important to underline, that all contradictions about rather exact number of victims of national disaster of the Kazakh people occurred because of absence, to be more exact – because of concealment of reliable statistical data about true number of Kazakhs on the eve of mass famine.
