Since September 4, students and faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication attended a distance learning seminar in English in the American Corner of the Karaganda Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.V. Gogol.
The seminar theme was “Developing 21st-Century Skills in the English Language Classroom”. Heather Benucci moderated the seminar, touching upon and highlighting such issues as: the concept of digital literacy, the degree of need to integrate it into the process of teaching English, and ways to develop digital literacy skills in the process of teaching English.
