Curator’s Hour “Independence Platform”

On December 11, a curatorial hour entitled “Independence Foundation” was held among 3rd-4th year students of the “Finance” specialty (F-21-2, F-22-2) organized by the group curator P.N. Buzaubaeva on the occasion of Independence Day. 

The purpose of the curatorial hour is: 

Explain the importance of independence: Show students the historical and contemporary importance of the concept of independence. Introduce students to the 33rd anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan becoming an independent country, and recall its deep-rooted history. 

Strengthening national consciousness: Strengthening patriotic feelings among young people, increasing respect for the history and culture of our country. Educating them to love their homeland, be proud of it, be able to be true citizens of our country, be organized, and love.

Expanding historical knowledge: improving knowledge about the history of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Independent thinking and discussion: To teach students to critically analyze historical events and express their opinions.

The tasks of the curatorial hour are:

Introduction to historical facts: Discussion of key historical events, figures, and documents on Kazakhstan’s path to independence.

Holding cultural events: Promoting national culture through songs, poems, exhibitions, and theatrical performances.

Organize group discussions: Conduct discussions among students about independence, its value, and its role in modern society.

Social media advocacy: Conducting informational work by distributing articles, videos, pictures, and other materials about independence on social media.

Youth Creative Works: Support and promote students’ creative works (essays, drawings, poems) dedicated to independence.

Legal and civic education: Providing students with legal and civic education, explaining the laws and regulations of an independent state.
