31.10.2024. Professor M.I. Abduov and students of the K-21-1 group held a round table on the topic: “The School of poetry of I. Zhansugurov”, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of I. Zhansugurov.
We know I. Zhansugurov as a national figure, a wonderful poet. It is known that every personality has its own characteristics. A distinctive feature of Ilya is the transfer of the appearance of the era with a subtext characteristic of the Kazakh tradition. We see this in the poem “Kulager”. Firstly, the poem is intended to glorify the national tradition, explain the content and meaning, for example, even, many years later, arrange “As beru” (commemorations) for relatives. Secondly, using various reasons, it is possible to show the incitement of hostility between the clans, tracing that its core lies in colonial politics.
During his short but bright life, Ilyas Zhansugurov left a rich and immortal legacy. Today, schools and streets bear his name. His works are translated into foreign languages, and his descendants proudly speak of him as a great son of the Kazakh people.
The students also shared their thoughts. They read excerpts from the works of Elijah, drawing a lot of information from the poetic world.
