International scientific- practical conference “N.A. Nazarbayev and international initiatives of Kazakhstan: practice and priorities”

On April 29, 2020, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy, jointly with the Sh. UalikhanovKokshetauState University within the mobile project “N.Nazarbayev: epoch, leader, society” holds the international scientific- practical conference “N.A. Nazarbayev and international initiatives of Kazakhstan: practice and priorities” in Kokshetau with the support of the Akimat of Akmola region.

The aim of the international scientific-practical conference isattraction of the expert community and young scientists for discussing the role and significance of the initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. Nazarbayev, in strengthening stability and peace, key issues for ensuring regional security in the context of the transformation of international relations.

Main areas of the conference:

1. Global initiatives of Elbassy N.A. Nazarbayev in strengthening international security.

2. Kazakhstan and mega-regional security: challenges and risks.

3. N.A. Nazarbayev’s Eurasian Initiatives.

4. The way to a nuclear-free world: Elbassy’s initiatives.

5. “The World. The 21stcentury”: a manifesto of a new era of global cooperation.

6. Peacekeeping mission of Kazakhstan.

7. N.A. Nazarbayev is an architect of Turkic integration.

8. Kazakhstan in the Islamic world: new paradigms of interaction.

To participate in the conference please send the application and papers until March 6, 2020to email karagizova@mail.ru. Applications and texts of reports are sent in separate files and should be named after the speaker (e.g.: ahmetov_zayavka, ahmetov_doklad).

Please comply with the specified requirements for the text. In case of non-compliance with the requirements for the electronic version of the paper, the organizing Committee reserves the right to reject the report.

Ø Volume5-7 pages.

Ø Font: type – Times New Roman, size 14, single line spacing.

Ø Paragraph – 1.25 cm, space of the paragraph is set automatically.

Ø Fields: top and bottom – 20 mm, left – 30 mm, right – 15 mm.

Ø Report name – capital letters a bold-face type, alignment on the center.

Ø Lower through one space, on the right edge: Full name of an author – italics, bold-face type (for each author – at first a surname, space, then initials with space between them). On the next line it is symmetric on the right edge – to specify the current status (position), organization name, scientific degree – italics; on the next line it is symmetric – to specify country and city.

Ø In the text, the footnote are designated by square brackets with the instruction of serial number of the source on the list and after a comma the page number (pages), e.g. [4, p. 89].

Ø The list of references is placed at the end of the text and is separated by an empty line. Sources are indicated in the order of citation through the text.

Ø Quotes – «». In specified dates of century are designated – by Roman, years – by Arab figures.

Ø List of abbreviations is placed at the end of the text of the report with abbreviations explanation in alphabetical order.

Ø Literature in the form of Endnotes, paragraphs by space are forbidden.

Ø Manual hyphenation isn’t allowed.

Not accepted for publication texts that have not been tested for anti-Plagiarism (less than 70% of novelty) and not relevant to the topic of the conference.

The publication of the conference proceedings is expected by the conference beginning (publication is free).

All travel expenses of the conference participants are at the expense of sending party.
