In her jubilee year 2019, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of her creative activity, Zh.Y.Aubakirova presented her book “Variations on the themes…”. According to the author, it is a book, on the pages of which she tells about the most memorable and brightest episodes of life, reflects on music and profession, shares touching and funny stories from administrative and concert activities, creates living portraits of people who once met her on the life and creative path.
As composer and public figure, director of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera” T.M. Mukhamedzhanov noted on April 30, 2019 in Nur-Sultan at the presentation of the book “Variations on the themes …” by J.Y. Aubakirova: “Zhaniya Yakhiyayevna managed to create a personality, managed to create a great daughter of her people. She can represent her people, culture of her people with dignity. As a musician I understand what colossal work is needed to play the piano. A piano is a man’s instrument, because it takes strength to play it. But as a woman Zhaniya Yakhiayevna mastered this instrument, I think it is worthy to be proud of it. She is a pianist with a capital letter.”
Students of all educational programs of Bolashaq Academy asked Zhaniya Aubakirovna questions that they are concerned about. Among them:
– Each period, especially in a person’s life cycle, has its own preferences, and most of today’s young people do not relate to classical music. How do you think we should start this acquaintance, with what works?
– We know that your repertoire includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Kazhgaliyev, Schumann, Chopin, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and others. Tell me, please, whose works will we hear in your performance in the future?
– At present the state program “Rukhani Zhangyru” is being implemented and one of the special projects is “Modern Kazakh culture in the global world”. Share your vision of what is needed for effective implementation of this project and what can we, young people, do for this purpose?
– It is extremely difficult to create something new. What are you guided by when implementing your authors’ projects?
– We know that Karaganda is one of your favorite regions and we are proud of it. What memories do you have of our city, the anniversary of which we celebrated this year?
– In one of your interviews you quote a statement by contemporary educators who call Mozart and Bach the main advocates of humanity. What do you think it means?
– How often do you experiment and what do you think success depends on?
– Thank you for presenting your book. Did your work on it allow you to look at yourself from the outside, to discover new horizons for creativity?
On each of the questions Janiya Yakhiyayevna discussed in detail and gave exhaustive answers. This meeting promoted motivation of creative initiative of youth on studying and popularization of cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
