On September 11-12, 2024, the XVII International Congress “Man and Medicine – Kazakhstan” was held in Almaty on the basis of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov with the participation of the Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Society of Specialists in Hepatology and Gastroenterology, the Association of Specialists in Respiratory Medicine, the Association of Clinical Pharmacologists and Pharmacists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Welcoming remarks were made by Kuzdenbaeva Raisa Salmaganbetovna, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, MD, Professor, Honorary President of the Congress “Man and Medicine – Kazakhstan”, President of the NGO “Professional Association of Clinical Pharmacologists and Pharmacists” (Almaty, Kazakhstan), and Shoranov Marat Edigeevich, Rector of KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov (Almaty, Kazakhstan).
The congress was attended by well-known scientists and practitioners from Russia, Ukraine and the USA, as well as representatives of various medical universities and scientific and medical centers in Kazakhstan.
All the reports were devoted to the most pressing problems of medicine, from which the participants of the congress were able to learn a lot of new information.
The congress was also attended by teachers of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines of the Bolashaq Academy. At the end of the second day, all participants received certificates.
