XVI Conference of the Eurasian Association of Therapists “Modern challenges of Internal Medicine”

On November 15-16, 2024, the XVI Conference of the Eurasian Association of Therapists “Modern Challenges of Internal Medicine” was held With the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The conference was attended by specialists from near and far abroad countries, as well as medical universities and clinics in Russia.

The following reports were made at the plenary session:

  1. Cardiorenal syndrome in the practice of a therapist: traditions and innovations in diagnosis and treatment;
  2. Lessons from the KAMMA Register
  3. Cardiomyopathy in modern clinical guidelines
  4. Artificial intelligence in healthcare: a smart assistant or an evil genius?

5.Beacons of pulmonary hypertension in the sea of cardiological patients

  1. When every step is important! Modern nephroprotection in hypertension.

The specialties were accredited:

Gastroenterology, geriatrics, cardiology, general medicine, nephrology, general medical practice (family medicine), pulmonology, therapy, endocrinology.

All sessions were held in three halls. The following topics were of particular interest: “The stage of the disease: why has this definition become so relevant?”, “Features of the treatment of polymorbid conditions in patients with cardiovascular diseases”, “The saga of men and women in the aspect of risk control in hypertension and dyslipidemia”, “Finding the key to healthy longevity of women over 45 years old”/
