As part of the “Week of Science”, the head of the Department of Pedagogy, Ph.D. Abdrakhmanova A.S., organized an excursion for students of the PiP-24-1 group to the E.A.Buketov Karaganda Research University at the Department of Preschool and Psychological and Pedagogical Training. The students met with the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ph.D., Professor S.A. Mulikova, who gave a brief overview of the scientific activities of students and teaching staff at the faculty.
The head of the department, PhD, R.B. Magenova, conducted a tour of the cathedral classrooms, the coworking center, and the research laboratories at the department. The students got acquainted with the activities of the laboratory of early development. Mirza N.V., PhD, Professor of the department, explained in detail the essence and content of the activities of this laboratory.
The laboratory of psychological and pedagogical support was also visited, where the staff of the department demonstrated in detail and clearly the equipment for correctional work. This is a sand sensor device and a touch mirror.This equipment is used in the correctional work of a teacher-psychologist, speech therapist and speech pathologist.
A review was also made on the virtual kindergarten, which was the author’s development of the department staff in 2022. It aims to provide preschool education to children throughout Kazakhstan and beyond. The leading specialists of the department advise and conduct classes remotely at the request of parents.
In general, the students were very pleased to get acquainted with the scientific developments in the work of preschool teachers and teachers-psychologists from the Department of the E.A.Buketov CarIU and warmly thanked them for this event.
