On October 12-13, 2023, the III Congress of Clinical Pharmacologists in Kazakhstan with international participation took place, dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the State Award Laureate, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Yevgenyevich Gulyayev. The Congress was hosted at the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University. The online format of the Congress included the participation of Damira Kenesovna Pakhomova, the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines.
The welcoming remarks were delivered by A.A. Kaliyev, the Rector of Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University. Following this, R.S. Kuzdenbayeva, a laureate of the State Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Figure of Kazakhstan, and President of the Association of Clinical Pharmacologists and Pharmacists, Astana, Kazakhstan, took the floor. Next, N.A. Chebotarenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and President of CoRSUM (Coalition for Rational and Safe Use of Medicinal Products), USA, delivered remarks.
At the Congress, presentations were delivered from distant countries such as the USA, Poland, Romania, New Zealand, as well as neighboring nations including Russia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
