Karaganda Region exceeded the increase in COVID-19 incidence by 7%. Since June 13, some quarantine measures have been resumed, including restriction of working hours of public and commercial facilities. This was told by Karaganda Region mayor Zhenis Kassymbek.
The registration of cases of coronavirus infection is growing in Karaganda region. During the last week alone, 303 asymptomatic carriers of the virus were detected, and during the past day 52 cases were registered. Most of those infected are in Karaganda, Temirtau, Zhezkazgan, Saran, Karkaralinsk, Shet, Bukhar-Zhyrau and Abai districts.
The largest number of those infected is detected after mass family events.
- People continue to violate the rules of self-isolation, social distancing and other sanitary recommendations. According to the requirements of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, quarantine measures are resumed if the growth of morbidity in the region exceeds 7%. In our region, this figure is 7.3%. Therefore, from June 13 certain restrictions will be adopted” said Karaganda region mayor.
From June 13, the perimeters of quarantine zones – Zhezkazgan, Karkaralinsky district, the village of Zharyk of Shet district – with the installation of roadblocks will be fenced off.
About 70 % of employees of state bodies and budgetary organizations are transferred to remote operation mode.
