On December 04, 2024, the Youth Resource Center of the Karaganda region held the event “Regional Volunteer Forum-2024″. The Forum is an annual event aimed at developing and stimulating volunteers and volunteer organizations in the region. The event was actively attended by more than 400 participants from volunteer organizations, students of universities and colleges of the region, school students and representatives of youth public organizations.
,Volunteers of the volunteer organization “Meirim” Bolashaq Academies were also among these active participants!
The Deputy Akim of the Karaganda region, A.U. Aldeney, addressed the participants of the forum with a welcoming speech, who presented 10 winners with grants for the implementation of their projects for 500,000 tenge.
Speakers who have made a significant contribution to the development of volunteerism in the republic were invited to participate in the forum: Aisulu Yeriyazova, Director of the Zhastar Research Center, member of the Council on Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Abdrash Abylaikhan, Chairman of the Republican Public Association “Medical Youth”, Akbota Bolatbekovna, head of the Republican Headquarters volunteers of “Jas Ulan Theam”, Head of the Republican social project “Fenomen Jas”. The akimat of the region also presented letters of thanks to volunteers who distinguished themselves from 13 cities and districts of the region. The head of the volunteer front office of the Youth Resource Center of the Karaganda region, A. Myrzanova, shared information about the work carried out in 2024 and plans for the coming year. At the end of the evening, Kazakh pop star Aydin Zhumakhan concluded the evening with her performance especially for young people.
