February 4, 2022 at the Academy of “Bolashaq” Department of Pharmaceutical disciplines held annual regional Olympiad for schoolchildren on the subjects of chemistry and biology. The Olympiad is held jointly with the Department of Education of Karaganda Region.
There were 14 applications from schools of Karaganda City and Karaganda Region on biology and 13 applications on chemistry. The Olympiad is held for 11th grade students studying in the state and Russian languages.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to actively assist future school leavers in their professional orientation and in choosing a specialty, to identify the most capable students who have extensive knowledge in the field of chemistry and biology.
The Olympiad is held in two stages.
The 1st round – testing – will be held on February 4, 2022 on the basis of the Internet-resources of the Academy “Bolashaq” on Moodle platform.
The 2nd round will be held on February 11, 2022 at 14.00 in the Zoom video conference program.
In the second round the participants of the Olympiad who passed to the second round are invited to make a report-presentation. In biology subject “Innovation in Biology. In chemistry on the subject “Innovative discoveries in chemistry.
The winners of the Olympiad in each subject will be determined by the competition committee.
