On April 1, 2025, teachers of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines K.S. Temireeva, N.B. Temireeva and students of the FM-24-2 group Kerimbai Diana, Aidana Sakhieva, Ansagan Kalkenova visited the Saken Seifullin Drama Theater and watched the play “Kosh Mahabbat”, dedicated to the birthday of Mukagali Makatayev. Love in Makataev’s work is a deep dramatic feeling filled with nostalgia. Makataev’s works about love make up the golden fund of his work.
This play tells the story of a love that could not resist the treachery of jealous people. Everyone was interested in the relationship between the main characters, Baghdad and Banu. Bagdad is a future composer, and Banu is a teacher. The actors were able to adequately represent the sincerity of the youth’s love. The performance also featured songs based on famous poems by Mukagali Makatayev. The students, along with the actors of the theater, tried to understand the poet’s soul, to penetrate into his inner world. The audience applauded the new production and the performance of the theater’s actors with pleasure.
