Teachers of the Department of Pedagogy, in preparation for the educational process, participated in a scientific and practical seminar on the topic: Prevention of gambling addictions.
The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Leading experts in this field introduced the seminar participants to the basic concepts, causes, and types of gambling addiction. A complex of diagnostics of ludomania for teenagers and students was presented in detail. Recommendations and algorithms for helping such people were also given. The seminar was useful for the work of the psychological service of the Academy and for the training of teachers in psychological practical disciplines in the educational process.
