On October 7, 2019 in auditorium 404 of the main building of the Academy “Bolashaq” took place an open lecture and seminar class of Professor T.P. Smolkina on the subject “Pedagogical skills” for graduate students of specialties “Pedagogy and psychology” and “Foreign language: two foreign languages”.
The session was attended by 8 guests:
members of the UMC Academy of M.B. Korzhumbayeva and I.V. Elrich;
teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology J.M. Mamerkhanova, S.S. Shutenova, V.A. Baybekova;
Director of Research “Rukhaniyat” A.U. Aupenova,
primary school teacher of “Gymnasium No. 1”. Karaganda E.V. Rent;
employee of the Regional Museum of Fine Arts, A.S. Omarova.
The lecturer at the beginning of the lessons presented to the audience a plan of work on this topic:
- The concept of speech technique.
- Speech functions of a teacher.
- Speech voice.
- Breathing.
- Diction and intonation.
- Exercises for developing correct speech, diction and diaphragmatic breathing.
The purpose of the lessons was: to study the theoretical basis of speech technique and with the help of practical exercises to begin to develop correct speech skills, practice diction and breathing.
The special feature of the lessons was the invitation of the expert Samsonov Oleg Vasilyevich. The guest is one of the well-known trainers of public speaking skills in the republic. Oleg Vasilyevich’s practical advice and recommendations were listened to by students and teachers present at the lesson with genuine interest. Theoretical issues were replaced by practical exercises, video clips of training exercises allowed the students to understand the principles of working with voice, to develop initial skills of diaphragmatic breathing.
At the end of the lecture, on behalf of the university administration, Samsonov Oleg Samsonov, a guest expert, was presented with a letter of appreciation, a student newspaper “LiMoNaD”, a notebook and a pen with the logo of the Bolashaq Academy.
