On October 29, 2024, a lecture was held at the Bolashaq Academy among students on the topic: “HIV prevention among young students”. The lecture was conducted by epidemiologist Venchikova Irina Alexandrovna. The purpose of the lecture is to inform students about HIV and related preventive measures.
During the lecture, questions of the etymology of the name HIV, its difference from other viruses, transmission routes and ways to protect against infection were voiced. A video was shown to the students, after which a dialogue with questions took place.
The main message of the meeting was the formation of a conscious and careful attitude towards their health among young people, the desire for a healthy lifestyle.
During the lecture, topical aspects related to the spread of HIV infection, its consequences and preventive measures were touched upon. The main attention was paid to modern challenges in the fight against this disease, including the importance of timely diagnosis and the need to educate young people about risk factors. The lecturer spoke in detail about the importance of safe behavior, as well as about the personal responsibility of everyone for their own health and the health of others.
The event helped to raise awareness of participants about a healthy lifestyle and the importance of HIV and AIDS prevention in society.
