Dear colleagues, students and graduates! I cordially congratulate you on the 25th anniversary of Bolashak!
I wish our university prosperity, reaching new heights! I am proud that for over 20 years I have contributed to the formation and development of the university.
Step by step, led by Nurlan Oranbasarovich, inspired by his ideas and aspiration, we – a team of like-minded patriots – went to the intended goal.
At that time, the Government and the Ministry of Education and Science decided to open private educational institutions as an alternative to public ones. The purpose of this approach was to improve the quality of education, training competitive specialists.
After all, it is no secret that in competition, rivalry, partnership, new approaches are born in a particular area in society. That’s when the idea was born of our teacher and mentor Akylbaev Zhambyl Saulebekovich, Rector of Karaganda State University and head of the department Dulatbekov Nurlan Orynbasarovich, now Rector of Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov to open a private university.
“Bolashak” became one of the first private higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and the first in the region.
Our team was small. I remember with special warmth and gratitude the pioneers of Bolashak: Bayan Mukushevna Ibraeva, Murat Meiramovich Mukhataev, Nurlan Adzhimuratovich Bekbergenov, Jeanat Saulebekovich Tolkeev, now deceased, Kuanysh Seidakhmetov, Erbolat Ermagambetov, employees of Gulmira, Janna, Aigul and Nazgul.
We worked with full dedication. Each of us performed several functions. We were both organizers of the training process and educators. We also worked physically, together with students we arranged classrooms, carried books, went out on Saturdays, performed many other functions.
Our first students were great guys, with excellent knowledge, they thought in a modern way, sought to get a quality education. They sometimes surprised us with their ideas and ideas.
Among the first students were graduates of the Kazakh-Turkish lyceum with excellent knowledge of foreign languages. For them we opened specialty “International Economic Relations” with knowledge of foreign languages, organized courses of Turkish, Chinese languages, introduced them in the curriculum. Now these graduates work for prestigious international companies.
I remember the first state certification, which we successfully passed, after which we had a strong belief that we can compete with state universities.
We invited experienced teachers, practitioners, lawyers, financiers and social workers.
Teachers and students were once bored. Students lived a full student life full of vivid events.
I remember the first dedication to students, the first evening of poetry Hamzin Maulen Khamzievich, who wrote poems in Russian, the first Olympiad of students, the first issue of the newspaper “LiMoNaD, the creation of the Republic of Bolashak with its interesting program, its currency, its Government. And much more.
We rejoiced at the first successes of students, encouraged them and together went forward.
There were also difficulties. Together, we overcame them.
Due to my activity, I had to travel to Almaty three times a month to coordinate the curriculum with the basic universities on specialties, to prove the correctness of our approaches in training, taking into account the requirements of the labor market to specialists.
Everywhere we went, we brought textbooks, books, methodological recommendations, thus adding to our library stock. We organized actions, exhibitions, viewings, introduced students to all the beautiful, moral and spiritual things.
You can tell a lot about the ways of development of our university.
Friendly, united, highly professional staff of the Academy has achieved high recognition of their work in the field of educational services.
It will continue to be so for many years to come. Happy holidays, Bolashak!
Mamraeva Gulnasia Baimagambetovna, veteran of the Academy “Bolashaq”
