On February 28, 2020 in the Assembly Hall of the Academy the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Masters, Doctoral candidates and young scientists (with international participation) “Youth and global problems of our time” was held.
Welcoming speeches were made by T.P. Smolkina, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference and K.T. Ibrakhimova, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists, Teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication.

After all the reports were listened to, all the speakers of the plenary session were presented with letters of thanks from the organizing committee of the conference.
The final part of the plenary session was awarding diplomas and prizes to the participants of the intra-university competition of scientific projects. The others are presented in a separate news page.
The breakout sessions of the conference started at 14.00 and were also held in a very active format. Section work was carried out in the following directions:
1. Legal heritage of Kazakh thinkers (Abu Nasyr Al-Farabi, Abai Kunanbayev and others) and challenges of the modern world.
2. Vectors of social and economic development of the country: The Great Silk Road – the era of the Golden Horde – a modern effective state.
3. Pedagogy and psychology from Abai and Abu Nasir al-Farabi to the present: preserving the past we create the future.
4. Development of spiritual culture of Kazakhstan in the works of outstanding scientists and thinkers.
5. Spiritual heritage of historical personalities and innovative processes in Kazakh philology.
6. Formation of active civic position of student youth in modern multicultural conditions.
7. Philosophical worldview of Al-Farabi as a historical prerequisite for the formation of an integral worldview.
8. Actual problems of natural sciences and historical heritage of Abu Nasir Al-Farabi.
The working languages of the conference are Kazakh, Russian and English.
