The Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication of the “Bolashaq Academy” Private Educational Institution organized an audio-work contest. The aim of the “Speak your mind” contest was to popularize foreign language learning among senior high school students, develop their foreign language communicative and linguocultural competence as well as to create conditions to practice their rhetorical skills. The participants of the contest were 11th grade students of Karaganda City and Karaganda Region. Contestants presented audio works in English, German and French, in which they shared their thoughts on one of the offered topics:
Cultural features of Kazakhstan that other countries should adopt;
A man with a dream can have no excuses;
What makes me special.
The idea for the contest was well-received by the graduates, with a total of 86 entries accepted! Determining the winner was not easy, each work was interesting and unique in its own way. The jury of the contest carefully studied each work. Listening to the recordings, reading transcripts, checking for plagiarism, a heated discussion, and we are ready to announce the results!

By the results of the contest many participants are awarded diplomas (I, II, III degree) for the mastery of expression in a foreign language!
